Samsung Electronics Thursday released three environmentally friendly handsets, using "green" materials for their exteriors and recycled ones inside. The plastic outer shell of the models -- the F268, released in China; the W510, for Korea; and the E200 Eco, for Europe -- is constructed of "bio-plastic" made from corn. Forty to 50 percent of all the plastic in the phone is bio-plastic, with the rest of the plastic required from traditional materials for rigidity, a Samsung spokesperson said Fri

The results of the new Pew Survey on News Consumption (taken every two years and released this afternoon) suggest that viewers of the "fake news" programs The Daily Show and The Colbert Report are more knowledgeable about current events (as judged by three test questions) than watchers of "real" cable news shows hosted by Dobbs, O'Reilly and King.

I added a new section to the blog called “Other Languages”. You’ll find the new button up above in the blue navigation bar. With the help of a site called Mloovi.com, our blog content has been translated into several language (including Romanian!). Mloovi uses Google Translate to make this happen.
